Wedding Industry Awards - Regional Finalist

Woo hoo - I'm a regional finalist!

Back towards the start of 2024 after a moment of bravery or complete madness, I decide to enter the wedding industry awards. It was more of a push myself out of my comfort zone type decision and never in my life did I expect to become a finalist, but here we are.

Wedding hair stylist of the year - Regional finalist South central

I'm so excited and terrified all at the same time. This year the south central awards are being held at the wonderful Silchester farm, the evening will be blast with so many fantastic suppliers and friends all under 1 roof. I'm being accompanied by my husband who will no doubt hold my hand through the whole evening as I have an internal panic attack and fret about falling over and landing on my face (I really would be that one).

I don't expect to win but the achievement of being recognised as a regional finalist and knowing so many of my brides took the time and voted for me means so much.

For me my job is so much more than just hair, its enabling people to walk into a room head held high, its returning confidence, its watching someone love how they look and just glow and honestly its even more than that, its a feeling they get, you can see it, they stand taller, smile more and just shine with confidence - getting that right is why I love my job and for my brides to vote for me means the absolute world.
